THE BALONEY IN HIP HOP: Exposing the Deception, False Doctrine, and Spiritual Corruption Hidden in Plain Sight

You've been lied to.

Not just a little. Not by accident. Systematically, deliberately, and with a spirit behind it that the Bible calls Babylon. Hip hop didn't just happen. It was built. And what it was built on — what it was designed to do — is something most people sitting in their cars nodding their heads to a beat have never stopped to ask about.

Today we're going to ask. And the Bible is going to answer.

This isn't an attack on Black culture. This is a defense of it. This is a defense of the people. Because the greatest trick the enemy ever pulled was getting an entire generation to love the chains that bind them and call it freedom.

THE ROOTS THEY DON'T TALK ABOUT

Before you can understand what hip hop is doing to people spiritually, you need to understand where it came from.

Most people know the surface story. The South Bronx, the 1970s, block parties, DJs, breakdancing. What they don't teach you is what ideology was planted at the foundation of the movement.

Afrika Bambaataa is widely credited as one of the founding fathers of hip hop and the creator of the Universal Zulu Nation. On the surface the Zulu Nation was presented as a peace movement — turning gang violence into music and culture. Sounds noble. But when you start digging into the spiritual and ideological framework that Bambaataa built into this organization, you find something the mainstream press barely touches.

The Universal Zulu Nation drew from a cocktail of influences including the Nation of Gods and Earths — also called the Five Percenters — which teaches that the Black man is God. No savior. No Christ. No resurrection. Just the "god body" doctrine wrapped in slang and cipher sessions. They took pieces from the Nation of Islam, occult numerology, and esoteric mysticism and baked it into what became the spiritual DNA of hip hop culture.

Proverbs 14:12 says it plainly: "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."

That's hip hop's foundation. A way that looked right. A way that felt empowering. But leading somewhere the people were never told about.

FIVE PERCENT DOCTRINE IN YOUR PLAYLIST

You don't have to look hard to find Five Percenter theology in rap music. It's everywhere. The language, the symbols, the doctrine. When rappers drop terms like "god," "the cipher," "the science," "85ers," "knowledge self" — that's not street slang. That's a religious system with no room for Jesus Christ, no room for the blood of the Lamb, and no room for the Word of God.

Rakim. Brand Nubian. Big Daddy Kane. Wu-Tang Clan. Jay-Z. The influence runs through decades of the music and into the culture at large. These aren't just artists. They were and are missionaries of a theology that is in direct opposition to the KJV Bible.

Romans 1:25 calls it out: "Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever."

When you teach a man he is God, you've turned him into the creature who worships himself. That's not liberation. That's one of the oldest deceptions in the scripture. It goes all the way back to Genesis 3:5 when the serpent told Eve, "ye shall be as gods." Same lie.

THE MATERIALISM GOSPEL

Now let's talk about what hip hop sells to the people every single day.

Cars. Jewelry. Women. Money. Clout. Status. Flex.

From the moment hip hop went commercial it became the most effective marketing machine ever pointed at Black youth. When record labels got involved, when the money got involved, the culture shifted from Grandmaster Flash warning people about "The Message" to rappers glorifying the very conditions that were destroying the community.

Think about what is celebrated in mainstream hip hop. Drug dealing is romanticized. Promiscuity is treated as a lifestyle goal. Violence is currency. And acquiring things — stacking up material possessions — is sold as the highest form of achievement a man can reach.

1 John 2:15-16 says: "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world."

Lust of the flesh. Lust of the eyes. Pride of life. That is a three-point summary of what the top forty rap charts look like on any given week. And the people are eating it up and calling it culture.

THE FALSE IDENTITY TRAP

Here is where it gets deeper and where the damage runs generational.

Hip hop has been one of the primary vehicles used to push a false identity onto Black people — and specifically onto the children of Israel who are in this land. The Five Percenter doctrine and the Hebrew Israelite movement have both used hip hop to spread their versions of who the people are and where they come from. And both of them lead people away from the KJV Bible and away from Jesus Christ.

The Hebrew Israelite street camps — the ones with the loud voices and the flags and the screaming at people on street corners — use the aesthetic of Black identity and empowerment while stripping out the cross, stripping out grace, and stripping out the

New Testament gospel. They use anger as a hook and then feed people a doctrine that leads to spiritual death.

Carl Davis and Israel Doctrine teach from an Israelite Christian perspective. That is a completely different thing. We accept that the people — the scattered children of Israel — are identified in scripture. Deuteronomy 28 makes that plain. But our identity does not save us. Only the blood of Jesus Christ saves us. Hebrews 9:22 tells us, "without shedding of blood is no remission." The answer was never in finding out who you are.

The answer is in finding out who He is.

Hip hop, through both its Five Percenter roots and its absorption of Hebrew Israelite-adjacent theology, has given millions of people a racial identity in place of a spiritual one. And those are not the same thing.

THE SPIRIT BEHIND THE MUSIC

Let's not be naive about what we are dealing with.

Music has always been a spiritual vehicle. The Bible is clear about this. Lucifer himself, according to Ezekiel 28:13, had musical instruments built into his very being before his fall: "the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created." The enemy understands music. He understands rhythm, frequency, and the way sound bypasses the rational mind and goes straight into the spirit of a man.

When you are filling your head with content that glorifies fornication, murder, drug use, rebellion against authority, and the exaltation of self as god — that is not neutral entertainment. You are opening a spiritual door. You are agreeing in your spirit with content that is in direct rebellion against God's commandments.

Philippians 4:8 tells us: "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

What you feed your mind is what grows in your life. And a generation fed on lust, violence, materialism, and godlessness is bearing the fruit of exactly that.

COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE

The Book of Revelation 18:4 carries one of the most urgent commands in all of scripture: "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."

Babylon is a system. It is a spiritual order built on confusion, corruption, and the worship of everything except the Most High. Hip hop, at its commercial and ideological core, is Babylonian culture. It is designed to keep people distracted, deceived, and spiritually sedated while the plagues of this world come upon them.

Coming out of Babylon does not mean you hate the people still in it. It means you love them enough to tell them the truth. It means you pick up the KJV Bible and you read it for yourself. It means you stop letting entertainers, street preachers, YouTube personalities, and record labels define your identity, your theology, and your future.

Isaiah 52:11 says, "Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD."

Be clean. That's the call. Not perfect. Clean. Separated. Set apart. Walking in the light of the Word instead of the darkness of the world.
